Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 2026
We want every jar to arrive in perfect condition. Because our products are food, we handle returns a little differently from other shops.
Cancelling an order
You can cancel free of charge any time before your order has shipped. Email hello@jarjoy.shop with your order number and we will refund you in full to your original payment method. Once an order has shipped it can no longer be cancelled.
Food products cannot be returned
For health and safety reasons we do not accept returns.
Damaged, leaking, spoiled or incorrect items
If a jar arrives broken or leaking, the seal is compromised, the contents are spoiled, or you received the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will replace the item or refund it in full, including shipping, with no need to send anything back.
Items that never arrive
If tracking shows no delivery within 10 business days of shipping, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier and then replace or refund your order.
How refunds are issued
- Refunds go back to the original payment method through Shopify.
- We approve refunds within 3 business days of agreeing to one.
- Your bank or card issuer usually posts the funds within 5-10 business days.
- Where a volume discount applied, refunds are calculated on the discounted price actually paid. If a partial refund drops the order below a discount tier, the remaining items are recalculated at the correct tier.
